Terms of use
Last updated 9 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses Realtap. By using the site or its API you agree to them. See also the privacy notice and the risk disclosure.
1. What Realtap is
Realtap shows data about the Cardano blockchain: token prices and rankings, DEX trades and pools, NFT collections, wallets, stake pools, governance and related information. It also offers interfaces for building transactions, such as swaps and NFT purchases, that you sign in your own wallet.
Realtap is not an exchange, broker, custodian or wallet. It never holds your funds or your keys, and it cannot move assets for you.
2. Information only, not advice
Everything on Realtap is general information. Nothing on it is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, a recommendation to buy or sell anything, or an offer of securities. Rankings, safety scores, labels, profit figures and similar indicators are calculated automatically and can be wrong.
You are responsible for your own decisions. Read the risk disclosure before you trade.
3. Accuracy of data
Most figures are derived by our own software from public blockchain data; some come from third parties. Data can be late, incomplete or incorrect, and tokens appear automatically when they trade on a DEX, without any review by us. A listing is not an endorsement.
The current state of our systems is shown on the status page.
4. Wallets and transactions
- You connect a wallet that you control. Every transaction is built in your browser, shown to you, and sent only after you approve it in your wallet.
- Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. Check the details in your wallet before you sign.
- Orders are carried out by third-party protocols (decentralised exchanges, marketplaces and their operators). We do not control them and are not responsible for whether, when or at what price they execute an order.
- Network fees, protocol fees and deposits required by those protocols are set by them and by the network.
- Keep your recovery phrase secret. Realtap will never ask for it.
5. Fees
Using the data pages is free. Swaps made through Realtap's own route include an interface fee, currently 1% of the amount swapped, paid to Realtap as a separate part of your transaction. The rate and the amount are shown in the swap details before you sign.
When a swap is routed through a third-party aggregator, that aggregator's fees apply as well and are shown before you sign. Fees already paid on the blockchain cannot be refunded.
6. Paid plans and the API
Where paid plans are offered, what they include and what they cost is described on the pricing page. Plans paid by card are billed through Stripe and renew until you cancel; plans paid on the blockchain run for the period paid for and do not renew by themselves. You can cancel a card subscription at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
The public API is offered under the limits shown on the developers page. Do not share keys, exceed the limits by using several keys, or present Realtap data as your own without saying where it comes from. We may suspend a key that is abused.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not attack, overload or probe the service, or collect data from the pages in bulk when the API offers the same data.
- Do not use Realtap for anything unlawful, including evading sanctions or laundering money.
- Do not misrepresent who you are or use the service to mislead others.
8. Third-party services and content
Realtap links to and works with services we do not operate: wallets, exchanges, marketplaces, lending and other protocols, aggregators, news sources. Their terms apply to your use of them. Token names, logos and images belong to their owners and are shown as published on the blockchain or in public registries.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Realtap available and correct but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, limit or end any part of the service. Where a change affects a plan you have paid for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
10. Liability
Realtap is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, and we are not liable for losses that result from market movements, from acting on information shown here, from errors or delays in data, from the conduct of third-party protocols or wallets, from transactions you signed, or from the service being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
11. Who may use Realtap
You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and using a service like this must be lawful there. You are responsible for following your local laws and for any taxes on your own transactions.
12. Changes to these terms and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change is significant we will make it visible on the site. Continuing to use Realtap after a change means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator is established, which will be stated on this page.
The operator's name and place of establishment will be listed here.
