Unfrack your wallet: fewer UTxOs, less ADA locked

A Cardano wallet is a pile of UTxOs, and every one that holds tokens locks some ADA as a deposit. Unfracking regroups that pile so the wallet is cheaper and more reliable to use. Nothing leaves your wallet but the network fee: every token and all remaining ADA return to your own address, and your own wallet signs each transaction after you have reviewed it.

Connect your wallet to plan and sign

The plan is made in your browser from the UTxOs your wallet reports. Nothing is built or signed until you ask for it.

Or just check a wallet

Enter a payment address, a stake address or a $handle to see how fragmented it is and what tidying it would release. Read-only: nothing can be signed from here.

Why wallets fragment

Every UTxO that holds tokens must also hold a little ADA as a deposit. Purchases, airdrops and change outputs leave dozens of small UTxOs behind, each locking ADA and making every later transaction larger.

What unfracking does

It regroups them: NFTs of one policy share UTxOs, each token gets a tidy place, ADA-only UTxOs are merged and one stays aside as collateral. Deposits that are no longer needed become spendable ADA.

What it cannot do

It cannot send your assets anywhere else. Each transaction is checked on its own bytes before your wallet sees it: every output to your own address, tokens in equal tokens out, no minting, no certificates, no scripts.

What you should know
  • The plan is computed in your browser from the UTxOs your wallet reports. This site never sees your keys and never holds your funds.
  • UTxOs that carry a datum or a reference script, the wallet's collateral and anything you exclude are never spent.
  • By default the plan never locks more ADA in deposits than the wallet locks now. Splitting large mixed UTxOs by policy can cost deposits; that only happens if you allow it.
  • A large wallet needs several transactions. They never depend on each other, so you can sign them in any order, or stop after any of them.
  • Network fees go to the Cardano network, typically ₳0.2 to ₳0.8 per transaction. This site charges nothing for the tool. Every amount is shown before you sign.
  • Tokens the wallet holds exactly one of are treated as NFTs. ADA above a token UTxO's deposit moves to your ADA-only UTxOs.
