FluidTokens Aquarium

Babel fees & scheduled transactions, on chain

Every tank, scheduled payment, validator stake and execution of the Aquarium protocol, decoded from the chain by our own node.

Pay Cardano fees with any accepted token

No ADA for fees? Draw a few ADA from a public Aquarium tank and pay for it with a token you hold, in a single transaction that your own wallet signs.

Pay fees with a token

Draws ADA from a public Aquarium tank and pays its owner in the token at the FluidTokens oracle price.

1
A tank sells ADA

A public FluidTokens Aquarium tank is a script UTxO holding ADA. Its owner lists the tokens it accepts and a mark-up over the oracle price.

2
One transaction, both ways

Your transaction spends the tank, returns the unused ADA to it, and pays the tank owner in the token — the validators only accept it if the payment covers the ADA taken.

3
Fees come out of that ADA

The released ADA pays the network fee. What is left lands in your wallet, ready for a swap or anything else that needs ADA.

What you should know
  • The price is the signed FluidTokens oracle price at the moment you build the transaction, times the tank's mark-up. It is shown before you sign and cannot change afterwards.
  • Every Cardano script transaction needs collateral: one wallet UTxO holding a few ADA. It is only taken if a script fails on chain; this page runs the scripts locally first and refuses to hand a failing transaction to your wallet.
  • The oracle price is valid for a few minutes. If you wait too long before signing, prepare the transaction again.
  • Realtap never holds your funds and never sees your keys. The tank contracts are FluidTokens' open-source Aquarium validators.
